About me:
My background is in psychology (BSc, University of Saint Joseph, Macau, China) and behavioral neuroscience (MSc, University of Groningen, Netherlands). For my Master’s thesis, I joined the Judkewitz lab in Berlin, where I became fascinated with uncovering patterns in behavior. Using quantitative approaches, I studied the vocalization behavior of Danionella Cerebrum–small transparent fish–in different social contexts. I joined Johannes’ group in 2019 for my PhD, first at the Max Planck Institute for Neurobiology in Munich, and now at the Center for Integrative Genomics. My project looks at how social interactions influence stress responses in zebrafish and how the brain enables this.
