About me:
Curious by brain dynamics, I’ve spent my PhD in Paris wrangling neurons and astrocytes in awake zebrafish, using fancy gadgets like two-photon lasers and, optogenetics. There I uncovered how astrocytes in the tectum synchronize after fishy “fight-or-flight” responses, revealing a noradrenaline-fueled brain adaptation. Now, I’m investigating how zebrafish recognize and respond to each other during shoaling. Using virtual conspecifics, brain-wide imaging, and mathematical models, I’m mapping the circuits that filter biological motion and drive social behavior.
